This Silverlake gem-- a tiny, brightly-hued counter-service hideaway-- is a beloved rendezvous point for local screenwriters, style bloggers, and hot moms and dads to spend a lazy Sunday morning indulging in rainbow ricotta toast and vegan horchoffee in typical LA manner: bougie and gentrified. 

Stereotypes aside, Sqirl's seasonal and regular menu items, from its sorrel pesto rice to its brioche toast topped with ricotta and/or a slew of the brand's now iconic jams, are truly not to be missed. Chef Jessica Koslow seamlessly fuses sweet, tangy, and savory flavors in every one of her dishes, which explains why anyone and everyone who enjoys themselves a good brunch keeps finding their way back to Sqirl.
