God bless, Joan's On Third. This marketplace meets deli meets bakery meets cafe meets ice cream parlor is a reliable rendezvous point for lunch, coffee, or plain ol' people watching. Seriously. It's insane how good looking the people are here.
Initially a humble catering business in the '90s run by Joan McNamara, the woman behind it all, Joan's On Third has flourished since, drawing lengthy lines every day of the week. Let me tell ya, the food is so worth it. An LA take on classic American fare, the menu effortlessly combines comfort and trend foods, from Crunchy Peanut Butter & Jelly to homemade Nutella Pop Tarts to Chinese Chicken Salad. I am still waiting for the day Joan releases a cookbook, but until then, I will be grabbing lunch at Joan's on Third.
